Sonja Benskin Mesher's 'The Blue Square' is a work I'm drawn to. Selfishly I see myself as the lone square surrounded by redness and uncertainty. A portion of me attempting to escape myself with little success.
I like the square and I've no rational excuse for liking it. I just do. Squares aren't strong or attractive. They're fragile and a little bland. But I feel something about me is square. This particular square is almost perfect with no blemishes (other than it's dissatisfaction with being itself.
One of Sonja's other pieces, titled 'Sea Glass', is almost how I view myself: slightly damaged and maybe a little corrupt.

I've finally got this website behaving itself.
I've removed a redundant container div and cleaned up most of the code. I've also added a myspace blog generator.
Myspace has a javascript formatting page that never works, so I've used a function to generate blogs in pure html (without new lines to avoid myspace injecting the unnecessary line break element).
Now my form writes to 2 files: the normal blog.php file and the msdata.php file. Formatting blogs for myspace is less of a drama as all I do is copy the html to the non-javascript myspace form and we have world peace.
All this is probably of no use to anyone, but I get frustrated when my blog doesn't look as it should.
